Managing Director

I’ve had great success and known great loss. In today’s tumultuous climate change is inevitable, and companies need leaders who have the experience to navigate change, not panic when the unexpected comes around the corner. At my core, I am an entrepreneur. I’m passionate about working with people to find solutions to their problems. I’ve had a hand in business areas from marketing to technology. I know what I’m good at, when to step aside, and how to support my team members. I know the importance of good business and efficient operations. All ventures must find the path to profitability because only profit allows an organization to give back to employees, better the community and occasionally make your own life a little easier. Because I believe in investing in my community, I served on the board of New Hope Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, from 1997 to 2002 a private school designed to give students access to a classical education in an economically, racially and culturally diverse environment. At Tennessee Valley Properties, I addressed the needs of our staff most of whom were single mothers working full-time while taking classes to find a better future. I held sessions at the store to help them with their homework and offered advice. Giving back is not only good for people; it’s good for companies. I am a veteran crisis manager who has weathered many storms, both in my personal life as well as my professional life. These experiences taught me the importance of transparency and the value of good friends and trusted advisors. I’ve become unflappable in almost any crisis and adaptable to finding solutions in dire situations. I’m always looking for new opportunities in business, speaking opportunities and ways to serve the community. Some of my favorite topics to talk about are the importance of adequate capitalization and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for managing any organization. Let’s talk about how we can work together.
